Help! New plant but already seems to be dying. A week ago we thought we over watered it because leaves were getting brown and a few were feeling dried out. We stopped watering for a week and now almost all the leaves dried out and many are turning brown. If I put my finger an inch into the soil it does feel slightly damp. What are we doing wrong?!? Thanks in advance.

Hm, it's says in the plant bio that the pot is without drainage, is that correct?
And second is it in the same soil in which you bought it from.
You should fix that first and formost and
good job with the finger test if the soil feels damp in one inch then it's definitely watered, likely over watered.
All tho palms can be tough, make sure the it's near a window with midday to morning light,
Best thing to do is leave it be until the soil dries and see how long does it take for the soil to even do that, that would tell you if you should change it to prevent overwatering and root rot
