What is going on with my Pink Mountain Rose? Too much water?

@PrincessPeony76 Wrinkled leaves on a Pink Mountain Rose (Greenovia dodrantalis/Aeonium dodrantale) are typically a sign of severe dehydration and a signal that it needs a thorough watering. The plant acts like a "raisin on a stick" when dry, but will plump back up once watered, often needing it when multiple leaves start wrinkling.

Common Causes and Fixes:

Thirst (Most Common): The succulent needs water, especially during active growing seasons.

Underwatering: They are thirstier than some other succulents.

Root Issues: If watered recently and still wrinkled, check for root rot (mushy base) or if the plant is severely rootbound.

Dormancy: During summer, they enter dormancy and naturally tighten or curl to protect themselves, needing less water, but they may appear wrinkled.

Pests: Check for mealybugs (white, cottony spots) that can cause leaf damage and deformation.

Care Tips:

Watering: When top leaves wrinkle, give it a deep, thorough watering until water drains from the bottom, ensuring the soil is well-draining (60% succulent mix, 25% pumice, 15% sand).

Light: Provide bright, indirect light, but avoid excessive, harsh, hot, and direct sun, which can accelerate drying.

Summer: In summer dormancy, reduce watering to once every 3-4 weeks.
