Hello everyone, my beautiful babies have been drooping like this for the last 3-4 days. I’ve watered & gave them sunlight but still luck. Any suggestions? #NewPlantMom #

Don’t cook them😜! Seriously I think you might take them out of the pot check to see if the roots are crowded and going around the edge of the pot. If so it’s become pot bound and needs more soil, Add more soil up to the inside ring then place the plants in that. Then it looks like they need some water but it could be they need more soil.
@ApRiseandShine ok thank you so much! And how do I go about with getting rid of the pests? Sorry so new to being a plant mom lol
Usually you’re going to notice yellowing leaves, some webbing for spider mites and black/white specks on the leaves (usually the back). Silvery "stains", discoloration could also indicate thrips, anything cottony white would mean mealy bugs…
I’d advise doing the full research on that but if it’s spider mites, I’d shower the plant fully, even repot with new soil if possible and start to use insecticidal soap on the leaves by spraying every 5-7 days for a month and prevent a new infestation with weekly neem oil treatments after that (don’t put the plant under direct sunlight while treating). It is a must to isolate your plant from others whenever you see something suspicious. Something to remember is that dieffenbachias sap can create serious allergies so it’s always better to use gloves when manipulating.
If you don’t see any signs on the plant or the soil then I’d be careful to follow the app for watering and wait to see if new damage appears.
In my experience, both plants don’t like to dry out for too long and like a fair amount of ambient humidity
