WOOO!!

after a couple of months of trial and error, WE HAVE A CORM LEAF! my other girls are definitely coming through but whew did she pop OUT!
How cute!
thank you!! she’s a cutieee
Mine do not like perlite for some reasons died died & died one in soil is still alive. Tried to do what they say on the Internet you know put them in some rocks and some water underneath. Yeah I think they’re fools it doesn’t work. οΏΌwould be better off in soil with a self wicking watering system
@OhGollyItsJolly yeah i originally had theme in the peat moss or wtv the orchid moss is and they did NOT like that at all. tried to do the just water method and they also hated it. perlite has been the best for me! now growing these frydeck ones and they’re doing great for only being in there for a couple of days
@lynnluvsplants mine needs to be repotted again for sure bc this soil is too moisture holding or not enough drainage it’s definitely doing better now tho. It’s been a struggle after 1st transplant & the splitting up of multiples. Definitely not the sellers fault came in beautiful so beautiful it’s was more then I paid for lost the ones from the splitting of multiples lol. Tried different methods of soil/soiless mediums. Damn if those YouTube videos make it look like a few rocks & water under it will create monsterous growth had me tricked for sure lol maybe I’ll get around to getting this one some better soil soon2nd pic shows sun bleached leaf 3rd is fresh new growth
@lynnluvsplants my attempt in perlite turned green on me algae I guess idk πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ
@OhGollyItsJolly maybe you just needed to ventilate the air! i’ve noticed that when i don’t ventilate, algae starts to go! you might’ve also added TOO much water
