@GladWoodruff49 Hi Guadalupe! Iβm afraid you have mealybugs π But donβt worry they are treatable! Let me get my notes for you π€πΏ
@GladWoodruff49
-1 Tablespoon pure neem oil
-1/2 teaspoon Castile
-4 cups (32oz water)
Mix that in a spray bottle, and spray it all over your plant. Tops and bottoms of leaves, stems, petioles, top of soil, and you can even use it to water your plant, as a soil drench.
Spray it thoroughly until itβs dripping off. Give it a gentle shake afterwards to get the drips and any puddles off. Then let air dry, and keep out of the sun for a day or two because it will make your plant photosensitive (apt to sunburn).
Neem oil starts to lose efficacy after about 12 hours so itβs important to mix up a fresh batch each time! I also shake the bottle regularly during and between spraying.
Also want to let you know mites need more than one or two treatments.
You need to treat every 3 days for 3 weeks to get rid of them.
