I just wanted to share my plant’s glow up! My friend got this plant when his aunt passed away—it was hers. But he didn’t know how to care for it, it was dying, and his cat bit it. He brought it to me to save it. The photo in the gray square pot was two years ago. The last photo shows it now next to that same gray pot, which now houses a peperomia. This beautiful #ChristmasCactus has grown so much, and I love it! It’s also a nice reminder of his aunt Linda, who was a wonderful lady. (This is why it is named Linda in my oasis.) I hope I can keep this cactus going for many years to come, as it is a sentimental cactus. 💚

Mine, which was my mother‘s, is 70 years old. Bless you for cherishing it for Linda.
@Just1More that is amazing! I hope this one lives for decades!
@Jana85 they are pretty forgiving plants.
Here she is last year before her last major haircut
@Just1More yes, this one proved that! It came back from the brink of death. I had it outside for the summer and it especially liked that. I hope it blooms because I have no idea the flower color. But it is lovely without flowers, also!
@Just1More it is gorgeous! That elegant plant stand is nice for such a magnificent plant.
Thank you!
Awesome cactus! And the others too! But I really love the cacti
Oh my goodness! You did a wonderful job!
Beautiful! That is really special that you have given her such a nice home. We should all be so blessed when it’s our time. I love hearing about plants that have been passed on. What an amazing legacy. 🌱🥰
@teacher12 I know it would make her happy to know her plant lives on, and that makes me happy!
@Just1More that’s exceptional!! And a beautiful legacy.
@PrizedShadscale thank you!! I have been given away probably 20 plant babies from this. I hope it lives on for many more years.
