Guys, I just got my cactus and it’s already starting to bloom but it’s not turning pink yet. Anybody know anybody know what’s up with that #NewGrowth

Hi Kaysen- yours looks just like mine. I was told I would have pink flowers too. It took 6-7 months of growing with me and then I got a ring of tiny green flowers. It’s been a year since and I put my plants outside for spring and I have new green flowers. I have mine outdoors where it gets at least 8 hours of sunlight a day. It’s in a pot with cactus soil mixed with lots of perlite (lots!) and bonsai lave mix for good drainage. I had it indoors for the winter and I almost lost it- even with grow lights.
These are the exact same flowers that I had on my plant
