My plant leaves are turning brown, I don’t know why. I had it in my south window and moved it where it’s getting no sun. How often should I be watering it?

Hi Debbie, your Plant still may be feeling the effects of too much sun or too much heat from the window. Remember when you put a plant near the window place your arm next to the plant facing the window. If it’s too much heat on your arm, it’s too much heat on the plant. Please don’t deprive it of any sun. It is a palm. As far as watering use what it’s called a chopstick test. Take a chopstick put it down to the bottom of the pot. Be careful not disturb the roots. If you pull the stick up and there soil stuck to it, it has plenty of water. Make sure it has adequate drainage.
