Bug! ๐Ÿ› Iโ€™ve had this Shangri-La for over 6 months and Iโ€™ve repotted. Today after bottom watering, I found this floating in the water! Centipede maybe? It was about an inch long! How did it survive the repot and all the other bottom waterings?!? Iโ€™m grossed out and now Iโ€™m paranoid thereโ€™s more in my other plants ๐Ÿ˜ฉ #PestControl #buggingout #WhatsThisBug #Pothos #PothosPack #ShangriLaPothos

From the looks of it, that looks like a greenhouse millipede! They like moist organic rich environments, they like to eat decaying matter so if anything if you find them in your plants theyโ€™re actually beneficial! I find them in my house all the time after hurricanes and since theyโ€™re harmless I like to pick them up and drop them off outside. So I wouldnโ€™t worry about it at all, the only issue they really cause is they like to hang out in your house sometimes and there can be a lot of them depending on the weather conditions. But theyโ€™re nice little fellows!
@Nature_freak9 Thanks for the knowledge!! Iโ€™ll try to remember theyโ€™re beneficial the next time I find one lol.
@SlinkyFivespot8 what a coincidence, I was just checking up on my fern just now and I found a greenhouse millipede crawling around! Itโ€™s the first greenhouse millipede of 2026 for me, they usually pop in every spring through summer in my house. So yeah the only thing you have to worry about is if they grow too much in population in your soil, but normally they should stay at healthy levels
