Tiny Tim's pots-in-bags water trick
#TheSagaOfTinyTim well I have had a couple friends ask me why I put tiny nepenthes in pots in bags on pants clippy hangers at an an angle… to quickly and easily see the water level inside at all times and how clear it is or if it needs to be changed😬 murky water is a good indication there’s something not right going on in the bag but it keeps any bacteria seperate from the other gestating babies. Some sediment is normal, it’s brand new media mixed up just for them. But there’s a method to my madness I swear! @tango I will also be selling off Tim’s babies in a couple months, depending on how many take 😅 currently there’s 17 and 4 are earmarked for me. Tim’s Tip and the leaf he grew after coming to me that I accidentally Broiled 😅 plus number 13 and 17 just coz 😊 let’s see how many I lose! Single node cuts all the way coz if I’m gonna cut poor Tim I’m also gonna get the most out of it 😝

Morning humidity check 👌 everyone is looking snug. Not a lot to see really but I seriously love that it can be done at a glance! A quick check like reading spines of a book and done. And it started as a convenient place until I could get something permanent but I think I’m just going to leave them there.
