Here are the outdoor plants. Some are outcasts in attempts to attract something (predators, the sun) to groom persistent pests - or die trying. Some are just too big - and getting even more unruly!
They're doing really well in temperatures that I previously thought might melt.

@DreamMachine almost everything - including the cloth that extends from one cage to the other - is because of this one. She loses her mind over every bug and every visitor.
Thank you. It came out of me after hearing "o-punch-ahh" over and over in a plant video.

@thenonnon omg I love your little blonde hairy cactus in that photo π€£ your cinnamon prickly pear is gorgeous! They are all, honestly! I just love the cinnamon ones.
@thenonnon Awww, what a cutie! Glad she has such a caring human π₯°
@Idplantthat Cinnamon you say? I clipped this from a dying plant two years ago. It only this year started doing anything. I'm not saying this is the cause for the growth, but the ladybugs I released in my garden spent a long time grooming it lol.
@thenonnon great call on the ladybugs, where did you get yours? I went to Millcreek Gardens over in Millcreek, theyβve got great selectionsβ¦ my family has been going there for about 30 plus years. Yes, those are cinnamon prickly pears. I have two but they are much smaller. Iβll get a photo tomorrow and you can see if Iβm rightβ¦ I definitely could be wrong π
