Hey can anyone help me out with why my red aglaonema is losing color on its lower leaves and the one is dying it looks like but the new leaves are growing in fine any tips too keep this plant growing healthy I’m very new to keeping plants! :)
4ft to light, indirect
10” pot with drainage
Last watered 3 months ago
Hi, Braydin! Welcome to Greg!

From the picture, your soil looks dry. This might be the cause of the lower leaves dying off.

It says that your pot has drainage, so that's good. This plant doesn't want to be too dry. It wants to be evenly moist.

Also, I have several of my #Aglaonema plants in my shower and they get bright indirect light for about an hour a day. With one of my little ones, the red has REALLY started to appear. (:
@sarah10orio okay ty that’s weird I was watering it more and then it got this white mold on top of the soil and it said it was because I was watering it too much and the soil was staying wet so how often do you suggest I water it indoors with ligh coming in from the windows
Is there a hole in the bottom of the pot so the water can flow through it?

Also, when you water the plant does the soil retain the water or does the water flow through fast and the soil isn't very wet?
Yes there is a part inside that lets water go to the bottom of the pot without letting the soil go down and I just repotted the plant 2 days ago so I’m hoping that helps out some because I put a better soil in there so far it’s drying out pretty fast
