I just chopped my spoon leaf pepperomia - she was acting up, then I bought her a grow light and she started sprouting new leaves but was looking very leggy⦠should I keep the grow light on the freshly cut stems?
5ft to light, indirect
8β pot without drainage
Last watered 1 year ago
Wowzers...whelp, you definitely chopped her! How big was she before? I ask because it's recommended you prune no more than 1/3 of the plant at a time, otherwise it can stress out the plant. Are you propagating the cuttings?
It's possible she got leggy from insufficient light. She'll need plenty of light to regrow, especially now. I guess the upside to her no longer having any leaves is they can't get burnt from too much light lol π

More than 1/3 ππ« I am going to try propagating!! She was dropping leaves like wild so a lot are no good. Lol Iβve never done a chop before cause itβs made me so nervous and now Iβm gonna be stressed out for a lot longer π peppromias are supposed to be eAsY but I killed one and my hope is clinging to life. I dont know whatβs going on!!!
