Help. My Camellia tree is dropping leaves even though I'm watering every few days. It's not getting direct sun and located near the balcony window. It was so beautiful and leafy when I bought it 😊

What am I doing wrong?
How long ago did you purchase? It could be acclimating to its new environment. Have you fertilized it? How much do you water? You could be over watering or underwatering. Every few days is vague and could mean you water too much. Are you giving a thorough water? Are you sitting the plant in the tub and let it soak up the water it needs? More information is needed.
Oh wow...I'm really a toddler in this area. Urmmm..let's see. I bought it on 11 May, was watering every day initially as I live in Asia and the weather here is hot and humid. When I saw the leaves turning downwards and dropping off, I changed to 2 days once. The leaves started feeling brittle and again started falling off. However I do see new leaves and buds coming out but the buds look a bit brownish and small.

I dont even know how to check if it's over water or under 😔

Fertiliser was included in the soil. I only used Ferrous Sulfate Fertilizer mixed with water like 2 weeks ago.

I really am lost on how to heal my baby
Tq Gabrielle for reaching out.
These are the buds I'm talking about. Soil is moist and loosen up and some leaves are slightly darken
