Greg watering and fertilizing recommendations are confusing. I received a reminder to fertilize and water the same plant on different days. Shouldn’t watering and fertilizing be done on the same day? Please help.

I wouldn’t follow any recommended watering or fertilizing schedule from Greg. It can’t take into consideration your exact lighting, soil, humidity, heat ect.

I would find a schedule that works well with your plant specifically and repeat that schedule :)

Thank you, @Drebsky. That sounds like great advice since the scheduling Greg offers is so ridiculous. Ironically, the very reason I joined was to have a system that would help me with improving those areas. 😞😞

@QualifiedGarlic I use the reminders as a, well, reminder to check my plants. I have >160 so it’s not practical to check each one every day or even every week. By hitting “water” or “snooze” consistently over about a year, I find it’s getting more accurate. It may give me around 30 per day to check, which is doable. I end up watering about half of those.
