Hi there everybody.
So I am not sure if this is a thing or not, but it is working for me, so might as well share it in case it comes in handy for anybody else.
I've recently bought a string of tears just a few weeks ago, and it was in a pretty sad condition. The leaves were so tiny and skinny, and the soil was soaked in water. Even though the plant was flowering, I have decided to repot it, taking into consideration its current condition.
Now, every single article and video I ever checked out always mentioned that these plants have a very shallow root system. But my stubborn self decided to go for a taller plastic transparent pot and try out to see how it goes. I immediately started to doubt my decision.
Fast forward two weeks later, I have started to notice my string of tears looking happier. I can see lots of new growth, the leaves are plump, beautiful, bright green, and the best part: the pot is transparent, so I always have a good sight of the humidity of the soil, and I also noticed new roots that travel all the way to the bottom of the pot.
So anyway, hope this post can help someone with their #stringoftears.
