I wish this was a case of hungry hungry hippos!
I thought I had been super vigilant against caterpillar eggs. I was proven wrong when I found nearly all the leaves on my flowering quince had been devoured by this lovely little creature 😡
The quince has been moved to a shaded area for recovering, fingers crossed. And the perpetrator moved to a spot I know to be frequented by birds … 10 minutes later it was gone. Circle of life justice.

What a double edged sword. They’re are terrible in the sense they devour our plants but so spectacular as far as nature’s miracles. Hang in there!
