Happy with my new grow lights setup
New grow lights - new table. Freed up some counter space in the kitchen and I’m a happy guy. @TexanExpat - took me a while to open up the track lighting and get it up there, but it worked perfectly for what I needed and thank you for the great suggestion ✅ #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #GrowLights

Thanks all! I definitely love the lights. So easy to setup and I don’t hate the aesthetics of them! @CrispRedfir they are the SolTech lights! I picked them up 40% off around Black Friday and it still stung. They’re great, but I’ll probably wait til next year’s Black Friday sale before I get more of em and I’ll probably do the hardwired option when I do.
@GaryPoopins It's a solid investment. Soltech lights last FOREVER. I'm just living vicariously through others while I save my pennies for my own set.
@CrispRedfir for me all that I needed to know was I could have the lights 25 - 30” away from the plants and still get BRIGHT indirect light coverage. Took some light readings after getting them setup and I’m a believer. Side note - I hate their light bar. Got one with rewards points (otherwise I’d never have paid to try it) and I hate the yellow hue. The track lights, though - love the color of the lights.
@GaryPoopins Awesome set up! I saw the Soltech light cost and almost had a heart attack! But I AM considering getting the Ikea track lights and adding grow lightbulbs.
@Bunny413 that’s the more intelligent thing to do and it definitely crossed my mind as I was setting it all up. Black Friday had them at like 35 or 40% off and like I said earlier - the cost still stung ✔️ The piece that made me stick with these is the distance I can keep them from the plants with their lights. Everything else I’ve tried has the lights 10-12” away, max. That drives me nuts. With these I get 30-40” distance between em and a lot more light than my Mother Plant Spectrum lights.
@GaryPoopins the problem I am running into while researching is finding a NON hardwired version. I didn't even think about that until I started REALLY researching it.
