Here’s an update on my new #Bonsai journey. I did a bit more pruning and refined the wire work. I’m happy with the progress, which is quite slow but steady… my #Juniper has handled it like a champ, still strong and growing! Any bonsai tips are very welcome πŸ™‚ Ps: also as you can see I’m also working on a Jade Bonsai

It’s a healthy-looking juniper. If you plan to let it grow for a year or two, make sure it gets full sunβ€”this helps keep it strong and compact.

During the growing season, water thoroughly whenever the soil dries out, especially in full sun. Some bonsai gardens say that junipers grow faster with more frequent watering, as long as the soil drains really well. Junipers hate soggy roots.

You can rinse the foliage now and then to remove dust, but regular misting isn’t necessary.
