Hanging tips for my pitcher plant?

Ideas for hanging pitcher plants? I really don’t want to kill this gal. She came in a tiny pot and idk how to hang or what size pot to transfer it to. Came with peat moss and I just gave her some water and put her in the sun. Help!!!
4” pot with drainage
Last watered 2 years ago
Welcome to Greg, Tracy! I'll show you how I have mine.

when it was tiny earth, I kept it like I keep my Venus fly trap. I would keep it in the pot it came in in a to-go dish of water. οΏΌThat way, it never dried out. οΏΌ

Now that it's much larger, I devised my own hanging basket for it. It's a nursery pot within another pot that has no drainage. I keep it full of water… mostly. οΏΌπŸ€ͺ
Here's what my plant looked like before my huge life-change. πŸ˜‰

It's survival of the fittest in my house. I bet this will look much better now that I'm getting back into my plants.
@sarahsalith did you transfer them to soil, or leave them in the moss? That’s a big beautiful plant! I hope my grows up to be that awesome
When the plant was established, I put it in fine sphagnum moss. Using regular soil will kill the plant. Using tap water it hard or chemically soft water will kill the plant. Chemical burns are the biggest killer of carnivorous plants.
@sarahsalith i’m using distilled water. It came to me in the mail and looking really bad so I just hope it survives. I am going to keep it in the Moss and just hope for the best.
Peat moss!! Not sphagnum. πŸ€ͺ Not enough coffee yet.
Can you get a close-up of the plant? οΏΌ
@sarahsalith I’ll also attach a picture of how it came in the mail.
It looks so sad.
@sarahsalith I’m only working on my 1st cup of coffee too. I get it. Thank you so much for your help. I really appreciate it.
If that were my plant, I'd transfer it to a 3" pot in about a month and put peat moss around it, being careful to not disturb the roots.

Then I'd put the whole thing in a dish of water (rainwater is best because it has natural nutrients).

Having it in southeast light is great! The hardest thing to do will be to hold your patience. It takes lots of time for plants to recover from the mail sometimes. (:
