I pruned my #Plumeria at the beginning of May. It didnβt do well after last winter and I was worried about whether it would grow again. The first 2 photos are from Tuesday, and the other 3 were taken today. I canβt believe how much growth itβs gotten just since Tuesday! ππ₯°

It looks like you have some pests munching on your tender baby leaves (causing the warped, melted look to the edges)β¦ because there are so few leaves and theyβre so young it is difficult to give advice, but you may want to do something like:
- check for aphids/mealybugs and kill them with tweezers, do this every day until you donβt see any for a few weeks; if you canβt physically see/kill the pest / itβs mites, tip it on its side and hose down the leaves as gently as possible (low pressure!) to wash away bugs and then put it upright again
- spray the trunk and top of the soil with a light layer of your gentle/natural pesticide of choice (should deter pests in and near the pot from crawling back up to eat the leaves)

@Maximum How old is your Ponytail Palm? So pretty!! I just got a baby one and Iβm very excited about it! What do you have yours potted in? What kind of mix did you use?
@LaneyLichen only 2 weeks old for me.

@smushface Thank you so much for the information! I hadnβt even registered the leaf curling! I have Neem oil, that will work, right?
@SoulfulChards11 Ooh the red flowers are so pretty!!
Wilting can mean over or under watering, or other things, too. How often are you watering your Plumeria? You said you planted yours in the ground, or did you mean you have it in a container outside?
I live in super hot Florida and they definitely donβt mind the heat, since Plumeria originate from much hotter places, but itβs also extremely humid here, which youβre obviously missing in AZ. Since we live in similarly very hot places, Iβd reckon itβs the lack of humidity causing the wilting. It could be losing too much moisture through transpiration. Iβm not sure how you increase the humidity there.
Take pictures if you can. Good luck! Iβm here trying to grow cactus during hurricane season, so weβre in the same boat! πππΏ
