So a while back I took some cuttings from my pothos with the intent of planting the propagated cuttings back into the original plant to make it fuller… however in the time the cuttings were rooting in water, the original pothos just naturally made itself fuller and less sparse πŸ˜… so now I have these cuttings that I’m probably going to plant into a new pot… free plant I guess lol! #GoldenPothos #Pothos #Propagation #Cuttings
I do this all the time with my pothos! I love them so much that if I have an empty spot in my house that could use color, I go to my box of pothos propagations and just make myself a new plant! I never get tired of them.
if you’re looking to make your plant bushier, i recommend pruning more often!! they tend to have new grown on top whenever trimmed
@lynnluvsplants thanks for the recommendation!!
@Nature_freak9 you’re welcome! i’m also seeing that you have some bare vinesβ€”not sure if you have room, pot seems very full, but you can bobby pin the vines back into the plant and they’ll grow!

you can see that’s what i did with mine (added a wet paper towel and a bag to induce germination) and she loved it!!
@lynnluvsplants omg that’s so cool!! I’m definitely trying this, I never knew you could do that!
@Nature_freak9 yes! obviously i went above and beyond with the bag and wet towel, but bobby pinning without it works just as good!

i believe there are some plant bobby pins, not sure what they’re called but theirs like the stakes you play croquette with except they go in plants lol
@lynnluvsplants yeah I think I’ve seen those before! I have hundreds of Bobby pins lying around so I’ll use those lol!
@Nature_freak9 oh good!! i will say, you gotta stretch em out or else they’ll pknch too tight and the vine will die (ask me how i know lol)
@lynnluvsplants I’ll keep that in mind!
