Hi plant community! I adopted this money plant a few year...
Hi plant community! I adopted this money plant a few years ago when someone left it in the office I moved into. It was already pretty leggy when I took it on and now it looks stressed I guess based on the brown/red coloration that's occurring. I plan to bring it home to transplant it and refresh its soil. Any suggestions for dealing with the legginess? Should I prop it up so it grows straighter and just let it keep going or should I cut and propagate it? Any advice appreciated! This is my first money plant and I have no idea how old it is. #moneyplant #leggyplant

@LeadGuppyplant Hey there!๐๐
That plant looks slightly dry...? And yes it does look like it needs to be repotted. As for either propping it up or propagating it... I'd say the safer route is just to prop it up. But if you want to risk it.?.. You could try cutting it off and planting it.. Good luck!!๐ค

@luvmygreenhouse thanks! I think I will bring it home to repot this weekend and see what I can do about propping it up / slowly training it to grow more upward. I think repotting will really help it get the proper amount of water. I think that soil is too old and compact and it's probably pretty root bound by now because who knows how long it was in there before I took it on. Here's hoping I can help the poor little thing thrive! ๐ค๐ป
@LeadGuppyplant Hope your plant thrives!!
