Finally arrived Roridula gorgonias! It is a very special carnivorous plant that can catch bugs but CAN'T digest them, so it evolved to live in symbiosis with a bug that's called the "assassin bug" his body is covered with an oily substance that prevents it from being catched, that bug eat the catched insects and fertilizes the roridula with his poo #cpclubthursday #carnivorousplants #carnivorousclub #Roridula #plantmail

Cool! I've heard of these guys before but wasn't sure how it'd work since the bug isn't there. I'm guessing it is like majority of Carnivores and doesn't need to really be "fed"? Super pretty plant either way! Where'd you get it from? I've never seen these being sold anywhere
Fascinating, thank you for taking the time to give us some fun and unique details about this little guy. I for one really appreciate that! ðŸŒŋ Definitely a fun, funky looking plant, I appreciate the uniqueness of it! âĪïļ
Whoa it looks like mix between a palm and a sundew ðŸĪĐ. Did you also get assassin bugs? Or will you just be fertilizing more often?
Very cool I’ve spotted these while boating at our cabin which boarders a huge big . Though I wouldn’t have thought it to be carnivorous. Thanks for sharing
@Merranda @DapperPineapple, I don't think I will buy the assassin bug, I think I can just fertilize it, @Merranda by the way, I just live close to France where there is a guy named Enzo Defer who sold carnivorous plants, and one of the rares that sold roridula
Very cool !
@Merranda hey i got a notification little carnivours had tge king regalia sundew in stock. I love it ! Do you have it ? Or incase your interesyed in buying one ðŸĪ·â€â™‚ïļ
I just not gonba buy anything jntil spring carnivirous wise myself ! That stress with those sarracena was to much ! Lolb
@ToMuchPlants you'll have to keep us all updated! I'm super interested! That's cool that there's somebody nearby as well, especially someone that sells rare plants like roridula.
@TheConservator Yes, I've seen that sundew before!! I've wanted it for a while but haven't yet gotten one. Not quite sure if I've got the right growing conditions for it yet, and they seem to be on the pricier side. I'll definitely have to take a look though, thanks for the heads up! :)
Crazy! Never heard of a plant like this!
