Hello everyone. Here is my Prickly Pear Cactus. It was very small with only a single “patty “ when I discovered it growing in the back of my property. That was about four years ago. While mowing I almost ran it over. I stopped, got a pot out of my garage and put it in a small pot then successively larger pots. It has grow so much . It’s now in the biggest pot I can find and outgrowing that. @DreamMachine , I feel like I rescued it. It has grown unbelievably since I started paying a lot of attention to it and by adding it to my plant community. I have no idea where it’s parent plant is I could never find it.

@FunBoglaurel81, People do eat them. I won’t. I have ordered prickly pear jelly from Amazon. It was very good.
