Depending on the size, direct sunlight could do more harm then good. Nearly lost it when I kept it in direct sunlight.

I saved this guy from Target. He was in that fluorescent light with zero direct sunlight and now he’s happy as can be in a west facing window. He’s probably doubled in size since I got him. I give him about .1 cups of water every week and he’s super happy!

I’ve had this plant since I was 15. He was tiny when I got him. With very little attention he has grown steadily over the years and has never struggled to adapt to new housing situations / lighting / irregular watering.

Doesn’t need much watering but does need attention. Almost killed mine a few times even though it’s a succulent ðŸ˜ðŸ¤š. With the right pot it can fit in anywhere whether it be on its own or grouped

When I had come to the conclusion it was dead, I pulled it out of its pot, and looked up ways to revive what I assumed was a dead plant. The plant had been going crunchy so I assumed it was being under watered. Many soakings later, it didn’t look too much better, and since I couldn’t bottom water in the pot it was it, I had set up to put it in a smaller, easier pot. Lo and behold, roots had been shooting out into the soil, I replaced the soil and left it to do its thing. This sadly isn’t the worst it’s looked

These are ‘babies’ of an original plant my great aunt had. It has been in the family for over 30 years. A nice reminder of her.

Really easy to manage, survives over & under watering (tho tips will go dry & brown & break off when thirsty). Makes babies easy that you can pull off and re-pot which are good for presents. Even once got a couple tiny flowers on a long stem in spring
