I have had this ficus for about 6 months. It’s positioned under a roof window, 1 meter away from it. The window is south facing. It is easy to care for, I feed and water weekly.

I’ve had this plant since ~’97 and it has been neglected on and off over the decades but it comes back with some love/attention. It doesn’t like direct sunlight, drafts, or being moved. I have only repotted twice. Finger test to water when soil is dry. Hoping the recent repot and move won’t make it drop all its leaves 🤞

It’s and indoor plant so you have to do something terrible to it for it to die they are very resilient

They like to have consistency with their watering, and their sunlight. They’ll be unhappy after being moved, or if your schedule for watering them changes. In my experience they don’t grow super fast, but if you stay consistent it’ll be happy. A very lovely looking plant!

Once you find its sweet-spot in the house it will thrive. Sadly, it took me a while and I’ve killed three.
They do get sunburnt. Don’t overwater.

Easy to take care of Needs indirect light. Water every two weeks; don’t let the soil dry out or stay wet.

Environment change can affect the plant a lot and it is very easy for it to shed leaves. However it also grows fast so it kinda makes up for it

Oh my word poor Benny! Lots of love and careful light/watering and he’s not acclimated well. It’s been 5 mos and he has about 14 leaves left. Consult/horticultural specialist and this baby is tough to get going in a northern MN home.

very fast grower and will survive pretty much any treatment but it does lose a lot of leaves if you don’t take very good care of it
