A really cute and easy plant to look after - even if you’re particularly forgetful - which propagates quickly and easily.
However, I find that without constant attention, it does not grow very fast or large, so takes a while to be an impressive succulent to look at. Loveable nonetheless.

My MIL gave this lil jade to me when she rescued it from a friend. Honestly I don’t like succulents purely because I can’t seem to keep them alive but alas, this gal has survived in my possession for a whole 2 months so far and she seems fine. I find leaving it alone is best, I keep her on a shelf that doesn’t have good lighting and really only think about it when it’s watering time, but she’s vibing and again, seems to be doing just fine!

My Crassula Ovata has been growing strong since March 2020! I’ve been watering “Orange” (my plant’s name) every 12 days and it’s been thriving and storing water in his leaves with no issue at all! 🌿
Orange was one of my first plants that I had received as a birthday gift last year. He came in an arrangement of succulents and I’ve repotted him into his new home a few days after I got him.
Honestly, Jade plants are very beginner friendly! They require low watering, they are fast growers, so you’ll see your progress as a plant parent, and they’re beautiful! 🪴
✨For those interested, I named him Orange because of the Orange peel-like texture on his leaves!✨
