The soil likes to get very dry but I have had this plant for forever I have traveled for weeks and did not water it and it still looked perfect! This plant is very pet friendly my cat does not even act like the plant exists! However if you have trouble with your pet and a jade plant just put some water and citrus in a bottle and your pet will stop eating it and the plant will be getting watered!

i love that this plant doesn’t require much watering like my other succulents this means i can water them all at the same time. because all of them require the same amount of water. 💧🌱
this plants is super-duper cute and def one of my favourites. you may have to keep it in the sun more than other succulents but for me this isn’t too much of an issue because i keep them on my window sill 🪟. if you don’t this may be problem but - with an easy fix... you can very easily put your plant on the window every day for about 1-4 hours at a time that’s all it needs obviously you might want to spread that time over different times in the day but it’s up to personal preference and how much time you have.

I love this plant!! Very low maintenance, sturdy, and cute! He is a trimming from one of my best friends elephant bush and has been thriving!

They are able to grow without direct sunlight, but you need to make sure they have good drainage. The best way to water them is to put them under the tap and let the water drain out the bottom for a bit.

The jade plant is an easy plant to care for and doesn’t need much water. It doesn’t need much sun but once and awhile sun is good for this plant to grow. This is a really good first plant that I would recommend to anyone.
