Grows when it’s ignored! Neglected watering seems to spur it on. He’s in bright, indirect sunlight all day. Only direct light in the evenings and a distance from the window.

Easy to overwater if you are a newbie. After I learned that hard lesson (twice) it’s been a trooper. I can go two-three weeks without watering and it’s fine. Very low maintenance, high tolerance to most conditions.

I was given my Original Pothos as a gift after giving birth to my son, he is now 20years old as well as my pothos. I have propagated it many times, super easy and now I have multiple pothos and have given some away also. This plant is a survivor, for example, it survived being knocked over and needing to be repotted due to my doggie! For anyone who owns a cat will understand this one, it has survived the occasional times my cat used my pot as a litter box, I know that’s really gross but cats are cats and will pee in potted plants.

I think it’s a great plant for someone who is new at planting because it’s very easy to care for and it can grow in soil or water. Also propagating is super easy :)

Easiest plant I have ever owned. I keep it in my bathroom, where it gets mostly indirect light. It grows super lush. I don’t like super long vines so I trim it when it starts to touch the countertop it sits on. After 3 years, it’s very bushy. When I trim it, I save the cuttings to root and give away, which has been no-fail for me. The cuttings can even be kept rooted in just water for a very long time (years, I’ve read), which is pretty cool looking. This is the best plant ever for a beginner!
