I have had the mama plant growing for over 10 years. When it gets to “leggy” I trim it & start a new plant. It is surprisingly easy to grow and very tolerant to low sunlight which makes it great for a variety of locations in my home - especially the bathroom. An added benefit is this plant helps to purify the air inside you home.

A friend gave me this golden pathos a few years ago and it has grown wonderfully! It lives in a mostly dark basement and doesn’t seem to mind one bit.

Easiest plant to keep alive! I’ve always struggled with keeping plants alive, I downloaded this app specifically to help me not kill them! My pothos has been thriving even before getting this app. Doesn’t need much water, much light, much anything really. I keep that bad boy in a somewhat lighted window and he just thrives. The leaves never stop coming, it’s perfect

My golden pothos grows like a weed and has done so through 2 moves. Resilient, easy to care for, fine if you forget about it for a minute, great starter plant that you can learn propagation on too.

Thrives on a pole and loves having light. I keep mine under a grow light without any sunlight and it frequently puts out new growth and is starting to put out leaves bigger than my hand

I do love Pothos. I bought ONE, several years ago, and now all my friends have one too, because they’re so easy to grow from cuttings!
They’re very forgiving if you forget to water them, do fine if they’re in the general vicinity of a window (don’t need light actually touching them), are super lush, and propagate super easily.
My only complaint is that they’re pretty susceptible to spider mites … but if they do get mites, spraying them daily with a solution of water/dawn dish soap/vinegar takes care of the problem quickly.
