I love this plant. This is my actual first bought plant I ever had 2 years ago and she is still going strong! She is, however, browns alot and gets sick OFTEN. But it knows how to fight it off with a lot of care, as there's a lot of new leaves coming back from the ones that she lost this year. It a great plant, but watch out overwatering it and take care of it when it sick and it'll be fine.

This is honestly my favourite of all time & I love how each lead is unique and different! I bottom water mine and it is super effective, don’t worry you are not doing anything wrong is the plant looks great but doesn’t grow for a while, they are naturally slow growers!

I water it and a leaf dies. I don’t water it, a leaf dies. I LOOK at it, 10 leaves die. I don’t think this plant likes me very much.

It’s not that easy to propagate (like, don’t forget to change the water otherwise it starts acting up and looses some leaves in the process) but if you pass the propagation phase, and really listen to its needs, you’ll get huge leaves in no time. And there’s always a new leaf „cooking“. Don’t forget to turn the pot, it really angles for the light!!

Got this at a wholesale market in San Fransisco. Had way bigger leaves at first, they died and now my new growth is smaller in size than it was when I originally snagged this babe. Few dead leaves here and there, but overall she sits real cute in front of my window!
