I don’t use soil with my bamboo and the plants thrive on it! I change out water every month or so and I just wash the rocks and put them back in. Super easy to take care of.

Loves low light and can go a while with out changing water but one day i will get to the point where i will plant one in soil tho ...one day

I left it 3 weeks without watering it and it was dying but luckily I was able to save it simply by watering it and it was fine within a week. Don’t let your pets near this though, I’ve read it’s not good for them. Also direct sunlight makes it yellow really easily

Enjoys sunny rooms, doesn’t matter if indirect or direct, as long as the room is sunny, the plant can be a moderate distance from the window.

It does brown a little bit but other then that this plant is great! Lucky bamboo grows incredibly fast and is always have new little babies. This plant also takes very little plant experience. Just water when the soil is all dried out. Happy planting! (:

Super super easy to care for and safe for cats as far as i know. She's chewed up a couple leaves and nothing happened. With good lighting they put out new leaves all the time.
