These guys grow very fast, and they grow a ton of little pups you can propagate. Keep them in bright, indirect light, and rotate regularly as they have a tendency to lean and twist toward the sun if you don’t. If the leaves start to cup that means they are getting too much sun, and you should move them back a bit.

One of my favs :) a very interesting and cute plant. Currently there are so many pups growing on my momma plant so I’m looking forward to having a bunch of little pileas! Does not like direct sun and will brown easily!

The only real issue with piles is that it is constantly reproducing. My mama plant has pushed out a dozen pups. I am always giving them to friends or potting them up. It’s a major grower and pretty resilient!

These are so cute and look amazing full and lush, as well as sparse and spikey. I have had some issues losing lots of leaves over the winter, and they can be quite delicate or just fussy (in my experience). But they do grow and recover quickly when given the right conditions.
