Love my peperomia!
It is so hardy and forgiving.
It has more than doubled in size in a year.
It will bend to find the light, but no bend is permanent in my experience. In the photo mine was curvy from having turned the pot 180degrees, therefore it started bending in the opposite direction than before to go to the sun. But now it sits closer to the light and has almost completely straightened itself.
I plan to give it a trim and root the cuttings.

I bought this plant at my local Trader Joeās because of the beautiful pot it came in. Rubber baby plant slowly grew on me with itās evergreen leaves and remarkable growth and then hibernation.
Every day, I am learning to be a more conscientious plant parent where I think about what the future of this baby plant will need... and how am I able to give it a best life possible.

I love peperomias, but this one has to be the fastest growing one I have! It loves the morning direct sun from my east facing window. Not a true rubber plant - this is pet safe! Be careful not to overwater. Let soil dry completely and then wait a few days. It holds water in its leaves, so it is drought hardy.

I would call it normal-speed propagation (though thatās still in progress), and a fairly slow grower, but I havenāt had a single problem with the plant (browning leaves, leaf death, pests, etc). That said Iāve given it good care, so I canāt attest to how well it does with over/under-watering. Pet friendly and cute!

This one has done well enough in my window, but nothing to write home about. I hadnāt noticed much new growth though now that Iām writing this review Iām noticing there is actually a new leaf budding. I think this baby will be a slow burn for growth. Which I suppose is okay.
