This is my absolute favorite plant. It is an extreme survivor. It grows extremely fast. The leaves are adorable and it is a beautiful addition to any home. My fern got spider mites and ended up destroying its foliage. So I read online to cut down the plant to the trunk. I did, and that was over a year ago. It came back even fuller and more lush. This is an incredible plant that will stick around for years to come.

He lost a limb today due to yellowing but he’s a pretty color. Drops needles like crazy.

I selfishly have this one in my office on a windowsill that doesn’t get any direct sunlight. It’s surviving just fine, very tolerant of low light.

I love it’s thin leaves, very peaceful looking plant 🌀

This plant is fun! It grows in wacky ways. If you get an asparagus fern, do yourself a favor and put it in a south-facing window that can see blue skies (no buildings blocking the sky) or get a grow light. Then watch this plant thrive :)

Mine is under a pretty strong grow light most of the time, so it’s totally exploded in growth.

Watering-wise it’s pretty easy and not super sensitive as long as you don’t over-water or neglect for too long. If you do let it dry out the tiny little leaves will start dropping, which can make a kind of annoying mess. But you can just shake them off, sweep up, then get back on your watering game and the plant will bounce back.
