#PonytailPalm Discussion

Hi guys, I have trimmed my ponytail and am wondering if I can cut 2 sprouts from top of tree where there are 3 branches on very top would only want one. Thanks David

There was a small tragic incident here during the storms the other night and I have three questions about different plants, which I will post about separately. First, the wind knocked my #PonytailPalm off my plant table and I found it on the ground. The ceramic planter fared better and didn’t break. A stalk broke off of the palm, which was doing great before that, and still seems ok, but naturally I feel compelled to try to prop the stalk, which I let dry out inside. Pulled the extra/sad leaves off, watched a prop vid on YT that a farmer made (he gets street, I meant extra β€œgreen” cred with me, just for the twang, but he basically puts his IN dry soil for a few days at least and then checks to see if it grew any roots. I’m open to feedback, trying water only, any ideas, but the prop/stalkk does have to go back outside. 🌴 #advice #propagation #ponytailpalm #help #poorosmo #needbiggerpots #needaplantstand (open to links for a stand too but Love you space and budget are limited 😭)

Wondering what to do when the leaves get so long they lay on ground. Should you trim?
