This was given to me by a friend and I noticed it doesn’t fold up like I’ve read and heard from others. I’ve tried everything- watered, humidifier, no direct sunlight…and it looks like this. Am I going doing something wrong?

I am so excited to share my progress with my #RattlesnakePlant 🙈 This plant was a birthday gift in April and since I got him I have only had troubles with it 😅 All of the leaves began turning brown and falling. I only had 3 strong leaves that survived. I tried everything to make the plant grow, but nothing helped so two weeks ago I decided to transplant to a smaller pot. And guess what? I got this beautiful rattlesnake calathea as an anniversary gift! I really want to keep this baby happy and thriving. Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated 🫶 it’s still in its nursery pot and has a few brown tips but otherwise it looks pretty healthy!
