Are these signs of under watering or something more serious like root rot?

SHE HAS ARRIVED!! After a long and arduous wait for my precious darling to arrive, she’s finally here!! This is my new #HoyaKrohnianaSplash from the Etsy store GreenthingsNstrings. Everyone should go check them out, it’s a beautiful plant and I’m pretty sure she has a bunch of others you can buy!! I’ll put the link in a comment. 😊 Pictures- part of the packaging (I took about 3 layers off before it, so it was perfectly packaged), the plant after I first unwrapped it, and the plant after a protectional pest bath (though I didn’t see any when I checked. Soooo… I didn’t stay home and rest and try to recover from last night’s migraine. Instead I met DD1 and my granddaughter at PetSmart, bought #PipSqueakTheIntrepid new cat food (already switching to adult because lil miss has become rather portly since her spay surgery last month), and then we skipped on down to Home Depot. I was hoping ours might’ve gotten some of those Thai Cons that @Kapuac lucked out on getting yesterday at hers. Instead I found literal shelves of houseplants drowning. Not even kidding. Water was pooling on top of soil because the pots were full of water. I was so disgusted. Thus I rescued a handful and hopefully they weren’t too far gone that they succumb during their adjustment period in their new safe haven. I mean there’s one little Hoya that I was legit squeezing water out of when I got home; now it’s out of its grow pot and getting some air while resting on paper towels on my kitchen counter. And oh, the ZZ plant… I probably poured 3/4 cup of water out of its cache pot right there in the store. 🤞🏻 Hope they all make it. I also grabbed a rose bush while there (👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻), and then a short while later we went to Trader Joe’s (*happy sigh* man, I love TJ’s) and I found myself a flippin’ RED orchid!! I have wanted a red orchid for YEARS, and there it was—just one, as if it was waiting for me. Bonus: it was only ten bucks.
