What is this plant please?

Got some new succulents and dangerous pencil cactus

Inherited this firesticks from my ex. She spends her winters in the basement to keep my pets safe so she looks sad as she just got back outside. Shes potted and desperately needs to be thinned or cut back but frankly I’m afraid to do that due to the sap. Any tips?? #SucculentLove

What fertilizer do you use on cactus plants?

I live in ATL. I’m thinking of moving Bernadette outside. The lows are in the 40s and 50s at night and highs in the 60s and 70s in the daytime. Do we think it’s safe for her to be out there with those night time temps ?
