Why is it red & look like this ?

Hello fellow False Christmas Cactus! I don't know why it's called false...we should maybe eliminate that and call them genuine 😍 My question is what's the best way for her to bloom? In a dark place or area with a little distant light? From when to when?

Repot? Propagate? I've had Dolores since around 2007 and she is huge and getting "woody" looking. What is my next step?

Does this look healthy? What does the midvein color indicate?
