Something’s on my aloe plant, should I get new soil?

So, Medusa here keeps giving me pups. Which, as I see it as a sign that she is happy with her current life. My question is.. is it okay to fertilize her while she is with plantletts? #fertilizer #aloevera #aloepups

Drying out, thining leaves and fertilizing.

Trying to resurrect this sad aloe vera, she was a gift from my mums friend and is in a bit of a sad state. I’ve chopped off as many limp/bent or brown leaves as I could bare to but there is some new growth hidden in there!! I’ll repot this guy with special soil at some point but I want to leave it for a bit.
