Okay, guys, no, i haven't forgotten to post an update about propagating Sam. But an update finally is able to come after finally realizing some VERY exciting news!!! Each propagated piece WORKED in some way, shape, or form!!! Instead of only 2 or 3 little bulbs growing off the main stem from the last update.... I can officially count 10 NEW PLANTS GROWING off of the stem!!! That's insane to me. It was my first attempt at this, and I got 10 just from the stem!!! The picture only shows the same perspective as the last picture update when I cut the plant, there's more in the back of the plant!! Moving on to the top cutting, I finally have 2 healthy roots growing in the water that can soon be potted!!! And finally, 3 of my leaves survived (because I think I was doing it wrong in the beginning and accidentally killed the others, but switched it up in time for the last 3) and they all have roots growing as well!! I'm super excited because if I count all of those successes, I have officially made 14 new plants out of one?!! 🫣 I'm super excited to keep noticing progress be made. I will continue to update as frequently as I can!

⚠️WARNING: This post may make people either cringe, get mad, or... all of the above...I possibly either made the best decision, or the worst....⚠️ I decided last night to try propagating Sam. The bottom leaves have been shriviling up and dying a lot. But the top half is beautiful and green! I checked the roots, and they are not rotted. They looked great! So I ended up assuming, yet again, it was a light problem only getting the top half somehow. I did notice new growth on the bottom of the stem. So I decided, "Why not use the new growth at the bottom to my advantage?" And I decided to research propagating. 😬 I'm very scared that something will go wrong, knowing my luck. But I had to try! I'll never learn if I don't try it. While I was at it, I gave Sam a new pot and made my own soil mixture for better grit and space for his roots. And I even decorated it a bit! 🩷 I will update soon if I see anything good happening... or if he dies 😓 we'll just have to keep trying until we get it right. I suppose if this doesn't work.

I GOT A BUG PROBLEM!!

What's going on with Sam.. #greggang

Should I take these off Sam??

Yay!! Sam is growing! Compared to when I first got him, his stem seems to be growing upward! I left him in my dorm over the weekend and noticed he grew a little sideways towards the window to get more sun. So I positioned him the opposite way, and now he's back up straight! 🩷☺️ here's a photo comparison from the first day to now! I'm feeling hopeful that this run with my plant will be successful! 🪴 What do you all think? Is he looking okay? ☺️ #growth #plantmom

Is this light okay for my Echeveria?

Is this light okay for my Echeveria?

Hello plant parents! I am new to this, I had one named Audrey a few months ago and she sadly died :( I was scared to try again. But my bf insisted that I try one more time. So I am here to gain knowledge and tips on my new plant baby, Sam! Please drop tips and knowledge on this beauty. I have researched before, and I'm using the same methods as last time in a way, but mainly trying to follow guidelines I've been reading through comments and stuff. Please correct anything! 🩷🫶

What am I doing wrong to my Echeveria?🙁 I try to give it a lot of sun and little water only sometimes. #Echeveria

Any idea what I can do in this case? #ILoveGreen

Late #WhatTheSuccWednesday post -I’ve been gone for a while due to some personal things, but I’m feeling much better now, & eager to share some succulent pictures/progress! 1. Repotted my PVN about two weeks ago, she is still thriving & growing bigger, I keep her on my porch in sun for most of the day, she also requires a more frequent watering. 2. Super Donkey Tail props were moved from a 1 inch teracotta pot, to a 2.5 inch cell, in my succulent tower. I moved quite a few of the original plants from the tower because they had grown to big & needed a new home. 3. Anacampseros ‘Sunrise’ is doing great as usual, she is kept on my screened in porch, so she recieves mostly filtered sunlight, but still requires a deep watering once a week. She has two offsets, one has grown very fast! (Offset is in the front between the two taller ones) 4. Anacampseros ‘Retusa’ also got a repot two weeks ago, she was moved to the screened in porch with my other Anacampseros, because of some slight stretching. She is doing well in her new pot, & also likes to be watered once a week. 5. My green pearl echeveria is finally getting more full by the day, she had a rough start but is doing so much better. 🌱 #SucculentSquad #SucculentLove #Succulents #Succulent #Echeveria #Anacampseros #AnacampserosRetusa #SuperDonkeyTail #Sedeveria #HappyPlants #NewGrowth #GrowingSuccs #pvn #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantTherapy

Is this too crowded? I bought it all together like this … do I need to repot and allow more room? Newbie here!

Got this succulent a few weeks ago from Home Depot. Gave one good watering when I got it. What is wrong with it? What do I do?

#echeveria #lipstickecheveria Good morning Plant friends 💚🌻👋🏼 My question is Have I planted him deep enough in the soil ? Not the best for pics! But if you look close you can see the stem showing if that's what it's called Will it be ok? 👍🏼
