Advice on watering lithops/living stones

I am having a good relaxing morning moving these Lithops into a new, larger pot together #LithopsArmy Th soil mix I use: miracle grow for succulents + additional perlite (1 part soil + 1.5 part of perlite), and lava rocks as a top dressing. #SucculentSquad #SucculentLove #Lithops #vladimirisbraggingagain #lithopsKardashians

Lithop Update/Help still needed Def still in need of direction. This honestly has me completely baffled because I check the soil with my meter the night before and it was completely dry!!! The ONLY thing I had done was add just a little bit of succulent/cacti soil around the base to make him a little more sturdy. He could flop from one side to the other. That was literally all I did. I used the meter to check the soil and it was completely dry. I was shocked…completely shocked when I came down stairs the next morning and found it like this!! I’m still shocked! The night before it looked identical to the one in the 2nd picture and the one in the 2nd picture is still completely fine and doing great! I just don’t get it. Also, I’m not sure what going on with the little guy in the last picture. I’ve been watering him very slowly over the last 2/3 weeks. Waiting 3/4 days in between and checking the soil with my meter to make sure it was reading dry. I read that the roots need to take the water up slowly so it may take more than one watering to get them plumped back up! She’s been watered probably 4/5 times now and she’s not really showing any signs of plumping. She’s still as wrinkled now as she was before the first of the 4/5 times I’ve watered her! Again, I don’t get it! Is it possible she’s supposed to be wrinkled like that?! What am I missing?? I’m so afraid of over water again…even tho there was no water involved with the one in the first pic and I’m completely baffled about how it happened.
