there’s new grow but at the same time older ones are shrivelling up

Right now I’m sure what is happening to water near the roots. I’m not sure if getting root rot or not? I’m not sure if I should changed por or stop giving water for a bit

#SaturdaySwaps strikes again! (Evil supervillain laugh) CJ sent me such a fun box and things look absolutely fantastic even though the poor box got stuck over the weekend. This philo Brasil leaf is the size of my kid’s head! And ZOMG TINY WATERMELONS!!!! 😍🍉🌱 The bag of beads were such a cool surprise and have already been commandeered by aforementioned leaf-sized headed child (but not before a few beads made it onto said Brasil cutting!). And everyone started to root in their paper towels while en route! I have no idea how to help this guy. I've tried everything I can think of and read up on. I even had my mother in law try and help. He's just going downhill since I brought him home.
