I believe my plant got a sunburn as she was in direct sun...

@Plantgirly13 a bit like people, reduce the light to help recovery and humidity or misting, so take it out of direct sunlight and water it less but moderately so. Any bad damage, you can remove. I am almost
tempted to say aloe vera but as I have never tried that remedy, I can't yet recommend it (unlike if you were sunburnt).
That's really all and in future slower let it acclimatize eg a few hours and then build up to the sunlight in its new posting. Hope this helps answer your question. All the best 👍
