When should I plant my money tree propagations??
Should I wait until the spring to plant these guys or is it safe to transfer now? What happens if I leave them in water and never transfer them to soil?? #PlantsMakePeopleHappy propagating">#Happypropagating #PropagationStation #MoneyTree #RootPorn #PlantAddict #HappyPlants #PlantTherapy #PlantCorner #PlantLove #Hydroponics

5β pot with drainage

@ReliableMango Welcome to the Greg community! No, a Money tree propagation cannot live indefinitely in water; while it can survive in water for a period while rooting, it will eventually need to be transferred to soil to thrive as it cannot get all the necessary nutrients from water alone and will eventually weaken and die if left in water for too long.
@Ms.Persnickety thank you for your input! Should I wait until spring to transfer to soil??
@ReliableMango You are welcome, and yes it would be beneficial to wait until Spring, as this is considered the optimal time during its active growing season, giving the new plant the best chance to establish itself successfully. Happy Growing
@Aminator theyβve been propagating since the end of September. It was about 3-4 weeks before i started seeing βbarkβ and roots. Iβm going to wait until the spring to transplant.
