Leggy MonsteraAdansonii

#Monstera Hi fellow plantophiles πŸ‘‹ I adopted this lovely #MonsteraAdansonii a year ago as a starter plant. I opted to let this one trail rather than climb on a moss pole. He’s growing, but see he’s stretching for the light and wonder if that’s why he’s so leggy. Would love to hear recommendations. Thanks all! #leggyplant #MonsteraMob #SwissCheeseVine

Wow, what a gorgeous adansonii! Since its vining, instead of climbing that may be why it appears leggy but it looks great in my opinion :)
It’s a climber get her a trellis
Great advise thank you!
Beautiful plant! They do like to climb, and will be happier doing so. You can also tell if it's getting adequate lighting with internode spacing (space between nodes), good range is 2-4 inches. If the internodes are longer, it could use more light 😊 very fun plants to grow!

I am also from Jersey! Long Beach Island area 😊
@PlantBeach thanks for the advise - aha moment with the climbing. Now I know. Spacing seems about right so for now I’ll try the moss pole. If still seems leggy I’ll give it more light. Thanks!πŸ˜‰
@ShannieGirlNJ moss pole, trellis, or even a cool (sterilized) stick you found. I have mine climbing on a macrame planter (huge pain to water and dust, don't be like me)
