Maybe it’s time to put it in a bigger pot
@usere5cedd50 Good morning! It's great that you've been taking good care of your orchid. Yellowing leaves could be due to a few reasons, such as overwatering, insufficient light, or even natural aging. Make sure you're allowing the soil to partially dry between waterings and providing enough indirect sunlight. If the issue persists, consider checking for any signs of pests or diseases. Don't worry, with a little adjustment, your orchid should be back to its vibrant self! Changing the pot could indeed help if the current pot has become too small or if the soil has become compacted. Repotting your orchid every 1-2 years can provide fresh nutrients and more space for growth. Just ensure you choose a pot that's slightly larger and use a well-draining orchid mix. Remember to be gentle with the roots while repotting. This might be a positive change for your orchid's overall health and vitality!
Profile for the plant says dappled Snowbrush, but it looks like a Phalaenopsis Orchid to me. οΏΌCare is definitely different for both. So if you’re following the Greg guidelines for Snowbrush it might be not the best care. Just saying. Anyway Marley lives outside so perhaps this leaf got too much direct sunlight? Otherwise the rest of the plant looks great! Here’s a link to why orchid leaves turn yellow. https://www.orchidweb.com/blog/yellowing-orchid-leaves-causes-and-treatments/
@MariansOasis I just purchased 6 new plants that greg says are phalaenopsis orchids and others say dappled snowbrush. πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

So bad news…thus plant died. Leaves all turned yellow one at a time and broke off. Sad it was so healthy just a few months ago. I guess it may have been water on the leaves but not sure. Don’t these grow in the wild? Wouldn’t the leaves get wet? So confused and sad. Miss my beautiful plant!
