Good morning. How often should I water my #Echeveria

#Echeveria
0ft to light, direct
2” pot
Last watered 1 month ago
Hi, because your Echeveria doesn’t have drainage it would be best to water it once a month. But if its leaves start falling off you should water it even less. Try to find a routine that work for you! If you accidentally water it too much you will know by the color of the leaves and you should take it out to let its roots dry.
@Plants4Prez thank you
I would get a wooden dowel of some sort (wooden skewers for kabobs, wood chopstick) and stick it all the way in the dirt and check the moisture in the dirt. If it comes out clean it's dry, if it comes out with dirt wait another week or two and check again. You can also tell by the leaves. If they're starting to get wrinkly and soft, check the dirt again. Beautiful plant, hope this helps.
The pot needs drainage holes. Use a pot the same size as its current pot, but with holes in the bottom. Use a homemade succulent soil mix (find a recipe online) and watch a video on how to repot succulents. Water about every 15 days.
What direction is the window it's in facing? It should be in a south or west-facinf window.
@FairyFly thank you
@SimpleSucc thank you
@SimpleSucc I did change the location. I live in an apartment. Huge window in the living room but I don’t think it was getting enough light so I moved in a bedroom on the window sill. It appears it’s getting more light
